Quality Assurance / Shipping Specialist (m/f/d)

 

Althoff + Lötters GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed metal processing company with a workforce of around 30 employees. For many years, we have manufactured high-quality wires for customers in the medical technology sector and for manufacturers of technical brushes. Quality Assurance / Shipping Specialist (m/f/d).

We are seeking a hands-on employee to oversee the final stages of our products' journey to the customer. Following quality inspections, you will work with the shipping team to ensure our products leave our facility on schedule and in perfect condition.

A sense of personal responsibility, reliability, and a willingness to pitch in wherever help is needed are more important to us than a flawless CV or numerous certificates.

Your Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on operational quality assurance. You will ensure that our products meet quality standards and also support our shipping team in the timely delivery of our products. Quality Assurance

Conducting incoming goods and final inspections on fine wires
Documenting inspection results
Handling measuring and testing equipment
Managing measuring equipment

Shipping / Logistics

Picking customer orders
Packaging products in accordance with customer specifications
Preparing shipments for dispatch
Loading and unloading trucks
Receiving goods

Your Profile

Completed technical vocational training (e.g., industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, machine and plant operator, warehouse logistics specialist with technical aptitude, or similar)
Experience in a metal-processing company
Experience handling measuring equipment is an advantage
Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
Independent, meticulous, and reliable work style
Team spirit and willingness to work flexibly across both areas of responsibility
